I was talking to a bloke from down under who is over on a training visa about this topic. He and his friends are gear heads down there. One of his friend has a 928 and what he has done is had the car in the air and removed the wheels. Then he lubed up the shafts and wrapped selafane (sue me I don't know how to spell it) around them. He said several months in the air was no problem. So he says anyway.

Mine sit on the ground, yep I get flat spotted tires too. But with some aggessive driving the flat spots are usually gone by the time I get to town!
