I started a progress thread in the 914 forum here so I will update it as this project goes on. Take a look see its going to be a fun ride.

Donor car looked like it's got no sunroof.
And no rub strip.
Interesting color.
Maybe somebody can rescue the bodyshell.

Why couldn't a crashed 928 have been the donor? Bummer. Like EW said, no sunroof too.

Reminds me of a video I saw years ago where someone put a jet engine on a go-kart and ran it on the quarter mile.

It was crashed and has the sunroof. It went into a ditch and twisted the right corner and messed up the suspension and frame on that side. No economical fix. I had a racer that begged for more than the 4cyl and a 6 that was the size I wanted was out of line also. So a guy from the 914club had this car and what I sell off it pays for the swap. Best for everyone I get a power plant and 928 guys get parts they need at reasonable prices.
