Default ignition removal question

I sold the 82, guy just wants some parts removed and sent to him
he didn't get a key with his car, the 82 has a key and I'd like to remove the cylinder and send it to him
do this really require drilling out the pin? or is there another way (short of sending the whole column)

I got my roll pin out by by drilling a small hole next to the pin and using a small pic to work it loose enough to get pliers on it..
