I was still working at the Chrysler Tech Center when they put the ME 4-12 on display in the center foyer. Very interesting car, but maybe its me, but I cannot get into a lot of carbon fiber. Outrageous specs on the engine, though...and a nice piece of art the engine was.

Damn, Dr. Bob, you beat me to it. I have a thing about vision. Maybe it has something to do with safety. Anyway, the blind rear quarters were immediately apparent to me, but scrolling through the posts and coming upon yours confirms that I am not the only one who puts function ahead of "just another pretty face". If you haven't ever driven a Ford Probe, (the later model GT from the nineties), drive one; it has probably the best all around vision bodies I've experienced. A greenhouse on wheels. Great body design. Good seats too. And an engine that loves to rev. One of my pet peeves is vision and seating position. One of the reasons I love my 914/6 is the shape of the sails as opposed to the much more sensuous Ferrari Dino which has blind quarters; beautiful but inapporopriate body. You know, come to think of it, I have known a few ladies that......oh well, forget that one.
