I know there are some audio experts on the board and I need your help please.
I am checking/fixing the vaccum system on my S4 and need to remove the Pioneer head unit. It is a DEH-P660 (PO installed it).
Do I need a set of removal keys like I use on the Becker/Blaupunkt units?
Is there an easier way to remove the unit?
I do not want to damage the unit or console by removing with force.
Any help or suggestion greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

You need two metal pieces that inserts on each side to pull the head unit out.
If you don't have the originals you could easily make two in straight metall as long as the with and lenght are about the same.
Alternatively you go to a car stereo shop and borrow/buy a pair.
