No dyno done yet, but hopefully soon. The pre-dyno was 285 RWHP with poorly timed cams and stock 15 year old cats. It is quite a handfull now with the 255's on the rear. There will be a set of 295's on custom 18" wheels in the rear, and 255's in the front this spring. That should help with the traction issues. And yes, I do have a G-Tech, and will let you all know this spring how it does compared to stock.

SteveG - anytime you want to check it out, let me know. Warning: once you get a ride in a SC'd 928, there is no going back.

Jim, be careful on the offset you choose for the front wheels with the 255's. I tried them and they rubbed. I went to 245 35 18 tire on an 8.5 wide rim with a 52 offset. They don't rub, but they are more squirelly than the stock 225's.

Gretch is slumbering...so are the C4 and the TR6...

Gretch,
Thanks for the heads up on the wheels. Dave Roberts has the right offsets on the custom 3 piece wheels, so what's a few more $$$ at this point? Just have to get them past my wife.

Gretch,
I love the garage! Now that is a place I could call home. Heated and air conditioned?

Jim,
Make that two for the ride a-long.

Well given that we are in the mountains, the air conditioning is provided by the big-guy-in-the-sky....

There is a Modine gas heater in the far corner behind the C4. The shop is well insulated and has its own bathroom and utility room, even a nice couch to relax on...it serves as Hunting central in tha fall too......I'd post more pictures but I don't want to hijack Jim's thread.....

Beautiful car Jim......deja vue for me......nice install.

That's not hard :-)

A funny story is that we had one guy who would sneak and mail us $50-100 in cash almost every week so his wife wouldn't find out. This went on for over a year until he had enough built up to buy a set of Kinesis wheels... NO KIDDING !!

Flott - just need to finish up a little fine tuning, then we are good to go.

Gretch - if you have some good pics, put em up. I need to see a real garage after working in my unheated one car garage with the door open for extra room.

Dave - we may need to set up one of those savings accounts ASAP.

Hey Dave, maybe on your new web site you should have a link to a Swiss bank, so that customers could open up a secret numbered account for some of their 928 purchases.

Thanks, Jim. You know I'm interested and will do a better job of following up.

- We might just need a "Pictures of Gretch's Garage" thread. It looks nicer than my apartment (and I'm not kidding).

Z: - too funny. Jim, What kind of interest rates are you giving these days?

don't say you didn't ask......

Some car stuff some hunting stuff and some car stuff, ending with Gretch in slumber so I dont get pitched for being OT.....after all the primary purpose for the shop is so Gretch can have a heated home.

Yep, I am a happy guy.............

Thanks Z, Not a bad idea, I'll get right on it.

Another solution would be to dig some holes in the ground on the "compound". I could put markers with just the VIN# of your 928 to keep up with all of them. :-)

This would be much easier than a Swiss Account, and around here it would be much safer!

I can send one your way, but you have to break the news to him as to his new functionality......
