Tail light warning from Intermittent Wiper Adjustment?
Seems weird to me - Two months ago I fixed my false tail light warning by replacing "Mexico" tail light bulbs with Porsche bulbs from the dealer. It was my first shark fix success, and I was very proud. But then last night I barely touched my intermittent wiper speed adjustment wheel (under pod on right) and immediately my tail light warning came back (and back, and back, etc.) Is it possible that something amiss with the little thumbwheel thingy could cause the tail light warning, or should I repeat my bulb replacement/socket cleaning drill?
Thanks for any advice.
I'm pretty sure that the warning lamp control unit is located behind the dead pedal (someone correct me if I'm off). You might want to access it to verify the connectors to it are clean and tight.
Yes, you are right, Randy. It must be a coincidence. I just drove around for an hour or so moving the wheel every time the tail light warning came on. There didn't seem to be any cause-and-effect. I will pull the dead pedal and take a look. Thank you very much.
