Power steering leak?

Okay well my car sprung its first leak I have found! A couple drops on the ground just ahead of the drivers side front wheel. I looked through the wheel well and found some oil like drippings on the front of the lower A-arm. Thought the power steering is right above it....sure enough the fluid was quite low, just barely on the dipstick. So I will buy some ATF Dexron today and refill it. I'm guessing its a leaky hose of some sort?
I have noticed that the car does have fairly heavy steering. I assumed this is normal for 928's. I have read that later cars (MY91+) have higher pressure steering pumps (110 bar vs 68 to 82 bar for older models). Would a higher pressure pump reduce the steering effort? I am looking into purchasing bigger wheels & tires all round (255 fronts) but am concerned that the bigger tire will make the steering much harder? Has anyone done this upgrade with bigger tires? Does it make the steering lighter?
Thanks

Brian,
The hose at the bottom of the PS fluid reservoir is a common cause of slow leaks. Check where it connects to the bottom of the reservoir...if it's wet there, you have found your leak.
I replaced my stock (broken) PS pump with a high output version from Griffiths. The steering feels great, but then again I drove the car for two months with the PS pump unhooked before installing the new pump. I had arms like Popeye after that.

Okay after looking at the PET6 diagram I have determined the leak. It is the more rear of the two hoses that attach to the bottom of the tank. According to PET6 it is not the cheap $10 hose that is more to the front. It looks like the "coiled cooling pipe" 928-347-350-00 I have not seen this part number in any of the catalogs & it looks like it snakes all over and would be a real pain to remove?
Has anyone replaced this hose (the rear hose on tank), is there another part number?
Thanks
