No affiliation, just for your information. I'd be interested in your considered thoughts:
Hi All,
We have the first set of 928S4 Performance Chips available to day (Only one
set - so be quick!).
These will be made available to the first respondent to this message (at the
928.org.uk mailing list) on a try and buy basis.
There are two chips - LH and EZH. The chips should improve all round
drivability, give a smoother torque curve and more top end power. We have
the left the maps as is under 2,000rpm (to avoid emission and MOT related
issues).
The conditions are:
[1] You fit the chips to your car (please only respond if you feel you have
the competence to remove and open your EC units and you know your engine is
in good shape).
[2] You try the car with them fitted and objectively report back your
findings to ProMAX Motorsport.
[3] At the end of the trial period (14 days from receipt), you either return
them or buy them for £169.95 inc.
[4] If you can provide good digital pictures of the install procedure - we
will discount the price by £25.00!
[5] You will need to use 98 octane fuel (Shell Optimax is preferred). They
will be OK with 95 octane - but you may get pinging with hot weather. Please
only respond to the offer if you can readily get Optimax fuel.
First to respond gets to try them out. Once we are satisfied that they are
working well - we will make further chips available on the same basis. GT,
S2 and GTS will follow soon.
