Question Hard hoses ,,, pump, radiator, thermostat?

Pattycakes is ailing.
Symptoms;
Hot coolant oder-occasionally- in side cockpit.
Occasional -rare- coolant puddle foward of and under intake -valley-.
Recent slight bulging of hoses at clamps after shutdown.
Both feed and return hoses 'hard', and very hot -approx. same temp.- after 15/20 minutes at highway speeds.
I've had the bellypan off for cleaning and repaint.

Thermostat is the high temp and about a year old give or take a few months,
same age on hoses/clamps.
I don't have a lot of faith in the temperature gauge because the last time the thermostat failed there was no warning till the hose blew off and I had, just about, total coolant loss. That might be indicative of temp sensor location.
The temp gauge does work and ranges from low peg to just under middle line when warmed up. The electric -aux coolant fan was working till cool weather
hit in December. No, I have'nt jumpered it to check yet.
There is no play, leaks or wobbling at the pump/pulley.
Main fan functions like new.
Belts about two years old and in supple if not new condition, tensions correct.
Pulleys are all running 'true' .
There has been some weeping of fluid at hose ends which I think is the cause of the small glycol puddles under the intake. I think when the coolant heats up after shutdown -which is when bulges appear at clamps- is when the leakage occurs. The only real sign of leak location is by using a dental mirror and looking for dryed residues under the hoses.
My question is:
Would a clogged up radiator be the primary suspect?
Both hoses being hard and hot has me leaning in that direction as opposed to the thermostat or H2O pump.
BTW
The coolant tank cap is OEM and 3 months old.
TIA

Time for a pressure test! Yes?

Hot coolant oder-occasionally- in side cockpit.
Occasional -rare- coolant puddle foward of and under intake -valley-.

If these two are not happing at the same time, you could have a small leak in your heater core. You would not notice a puddle on the floorboard like other vehicles because it would be draining out the same hole as your evaporator (above the Cat).
