You MUST undo the deal. You paid shipping one way, Stefan can pay the return way. As to damage, you need to claim that from the shipper.

Yes, I second the beer chugging, pouch hugging, key lugging old man. You should take the wheels back. Always take the high road when available. If the buyer scratched them then he should come clean or he'll be the ***.

I would "third" that motion. I think it is reasonable to be responsible for 100% accuracy in description of a set of wheels with regards to sizes/OFFSETS/tires. It is not impossible to be 100% accurate. If a seller doesn't know, he can get help from someone more knowledgable (shop or dealer) with descriptive details.
my $.02
edit: as a 928 owner (2 at that), the buyer should know that NO one piece cast wheels have a 65 offset front except original 928 wheels. Some research is always in order if one doesn't know, and rennlist is a place full of info if a search is done. Tons of info on all that right here. Also, those replica twist wheels are real cheap from tire rack, 928 Spec. or 928 Int., so at the price paid why go with used at all?

Funny this would be my first post here..........

There is no 'meeting of the minds'....offsets misrepresented, tires misrepresented (although neither done purposely, IMO)....

Seller should refund full price AND return shipping..........

Yeah, real funny - you calling yourself 'Mediator', and your first post being in a conflict topic.

Hit the road.

Well here goes....As for the both of you, there are such things as "Buyer beware" (buyer) just like "Ignorance is not an excuse" (seller). Ask yourselves this, at this point in this sour deal, What Is Your Time Worth? It is reasonable to conclude that each of you have decent incomes and a fair amount of disposable cash, otherwise you wouldn't be driving Porsches and dealing on E-Bay. (I'm sure to get you know what for that) I don't think anybody following this posting really wants to view your dirty laundry even though this whole deal sucks. Into every life some $hit will fall. Since your most valuable commodity is time why don't you both just split the difference on back shipping and what's being asked for in a refund and go enjoy your families.

(Seller), you don't want them back anyway and (Buyer) there is no dought that you will be able to off load them to someone that doesn't care. The fact of the matter is, outside of you two, nobody (especially me) will ever know the truth of this matter. That being said, my long winded B.S. here is just that, B.S. But there may just be a grain of truth to it. Both of you need to be the "Bigger Man" here.

Crap...I just exhausted myself. I need a beer!
