Darien, I would check out the classified on here. I would trust spending a little more from someone on here then cheaper in the outside world. Most of the people on here do their own wrenching and care a lot more for their cars. Good Luck! They are cars second to none.

Uh, which piece of 'misinformation' were you referring to from us?

Maybe you are on the wrong board. We do not value "bull ****e" here, only facts.

What the??
Hey BerNard94,
The advice given to me helped me in my final decision! I purcahased the car via the intrenet and phone conversations. The PO was up front about the Warning Lights and supplied requested photo's, but when I flew into Burbank yesterday, the car had other issues. 1. I was told it was the original paint, false, it had been repainted very cheap and was peeling. 2. The sunroof was sagging in the rear. 3. The hood light had exploded frying the wires, which could lead to other elec. problems. 4. And lastley, the rear end sounded like grinding gears while driving.
The asking price was $11,000 if anyone is still interested I can supply the info.
As for the rude comments, very proffesional, NOT!

Darien,
All in all, a good result: glad you asked the questions, even more so that you had a physical exam opportunity. For the cost of a flight, you are now a more experienced shark hunter - let the hunt continue ....

I know why he had it painted. It had some clear coat flaking when I saw it. The grindy sound is a baaaaaadd thing. I know where there is a nice black/black 89S4 almost ready. PM me if your interested. Should be a pretty good deal. I"m not a broker, won't take any comish on it.
