I think that we now have a good alternative for a Porsche 18" wheel to accomodate wider rubber with a good offset for our beloved 928's. The 18" 997 5 spoke wheel has the following specs:

Front is 8X18 with ET 57
Rear is 10X18 with ET 58

By my estimation, wouldn't these fit my GT with 245 front rubber and 285 rear rubber without spacers and without rubbing? Anyone tried 'em yet?

I know the rears will fit for sure, as I ran 285/30-18 ET65 with a 6.5mm spacer for an effective ET58.5. The front I am positive with 235/40-18 rubber, as I run 235/40-18 with ET 50 no spacers. This is assuming the car has stock ride height.

I have now gone to 295/30-18 on the rear with the same rim ET65 18 X 10 but now use a 13mm spacer... For the 245 front, you may want to go to 9in width... Not sure they make it in 18 X 9 though..

Good Luck,
