Heinrich, this was without a doubt the best leather interior I ever saw......until Falkenberg bought the Blue GT. Even then, it's still about as good as it gets.

"What is the black thing right behind the crossbar coming off the red intake intake pipe?"

That's the blow-off valve, I've never heard it go off as the charger is only pushing ~6-7 lbs. of boost.

"water injection?"

Nope, Koenig added an extra fuel injector on the intake, just behind the throttle valve, sandwiched between the upper and lower manifold. They cut and welded a plug for it. Its activated by a separate boost sensing switch (on/off type). Its pretty crude, but simple. I bet it was considered advanced for the time when they put it together though. But I question whether or not its really delivering an equal amount of extra fuel to all the cylinders (given airflow characteristics within the intake). I think what I will do eventually is replace the stock injectors and with some 30lbs. ones and add an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

I'll post some interior pics later to show the 'pod'.

SWEET! The wheels are very nice!
My only rubs are:
1)..The elevated cover over the brake lights/rear section. The brake lights need to be flush to complete the design Porsche had intended.
2)..The "Supra" wing doesn't do as much for me as it would if there were one of the more standard 928 wings.

Just my opinions.....

I seem to recall that several people have PC'd their spiders.
Anyone recall what Grasser did? I thought he PC'd some engine parts on his OB.

Edit: Yes, check this out.
