Default More plating, Before and After

Well this time I actually had some shots of what some of the parts looked like before, I also did the brackets that hold the spoiler on the front bumper but not so interesting.

Before:

After:

Didn't have pics of the before of the jood brackets but here it is anyway.

I am always amazed that I get back every nut and washer I give them ... well so far so good anyway.

Disassembling and reassembling the hood latch was fun but works much better now for sure, need to go buy a rivet gun also !

Hey, isn't your hood strut upside down? I've heard that mounting them that way makes them wear out fast.

Yep, Hood and hatch shocks should be mounted with the large end UP.

Go to yellow pages, look up plating. They usually have a min lot charge, the place I use it is $50 and that covers a LOT of parts. This time because some of the parts were rusty I also got a strip charge of about $30.
