Door crossover? Tweeter aim?
Where is the driver door "frequency switch" physically located? I have no sound to my driver door speakers.
Also, the door tweeters seem to be aimed up and forward. They could be turned 90º to be aimed a little back. Should they be? It seems like the high frequencies should be aimed right at the listener instead of at the dash. Two of the four screw holes in each bracket are marked "0L" and "0R" which, if I had to guess, I would say means 0º Links and Rechts. I would put 0º at the 12 o'clock position. Putting the "0L" hole at 12 o'clock in the left door aims the tweeter up and forward. Hmmm.

Answering my own (first) question. It's on the inside of the door panel. And it was unplugged. Another bug squashed. Now I need some speakers, and an answer to my second question.

I seem to remember reading that some cars they bounce the sound off the glass like the rear hatch window I wonder if that applies to the door tweater and the windshield ?

Yes, Michael, stock speakers.
Jim -- I wouldn't say they are aimed at the windshield. On the driver side, at least, the tweeter is aimed at the pod.
Thanks, Dave.
Even if my speakers were working, I probably couldn't tell the difference between aimed forward and aimed back. Maybe I'll try it both ways.
