OMFG that pisses me off royally to hear someone as sick as to leave your car in a condition like that. Keep an eye out for any ads saying there are Kinesis wheels for sale because they just might be yours!

Sorry to hear about your loss. Just out of curiousity, was your car garaged and if so will your home owners insurance cover the loss in case your auto insurance doesn't. Most auto insurance companies won't cover aftermarket wheels. (If they are attached) I had a set of wheels and tires for my truck stolen from my garage, Because they weren't on my truck yet homeowners insurance picked up the tab. I hope they find the crooks and lock them in cell with a 300 pound individual named Dorthy that loves to give dancing lessons to polka music.
Hey ED, those locks are only a minor set back to a guy with a can of freon and a cold chisel.

Jeff.
You will find that since the products are aluminum, they won't really be affected by freon. First of all it doesn't get that cold and second of all, alumium is much stronger than steel when frozen in cyrogenic temperatures. Ever notice that all the liquid helium tanks are aluminum instead of steel. It wasn't because people like to spend money on aluminum tanks.
Check it out if you don't believe. Most likely they used one of the lugnut removing tools and a big bar.

Curt, did you have wheel lock lug nuts on those?
The McGuard set has only 30 keys. The majority of Porsche owners are using those locks so an enterprising wheel thief can buy 30 keys and go to work on basically every unsecured Porsche.
Hope you catch the SOB!

Both? The dog is the alarm system, the shotgun (or rifle - in Texas you can use deadly force against a fleeing felon) is the self-help system.

fst951,
You're right aluminium does get stronger. Makes a hell of a cold sink drawing cold into the stud. Easy to snap the stud. Just like car thiefs having been doing for years with "The Club" streering wheel locks. Pops the lock out every time. Even works on Kryptonite locks. However I would agree with your take on this. Quicker and less costly, no guess work. Like anything, if a thief wants it bad enough they'll get it. Still Sucks !!!!! I hope there is some justice here. Anybody out there in Curt's area with a spare set of wheels and tires they could lend??

That sucks! I'll keep an eye out for them on ebay.
in addition to craigslist, you may also want to keep an eye on this site:

There are porsche wheels on there all of the time.
Best of luck!

That would just burn me up... you know the klepto couldn't put them on thier vehicle so they will have to sell them and will probably do so for a fraction of the price.... so if you're reading this, please PM me. No really, I'm looking to get some new wheels and tires for my '85 but will purchace those lug locks with them and save the others for the track. The car stays in the garage, where did this happen again? How did the MF get to the car? I'm in law enforcement and I would hunt that basterd down.
