Please evaluate my 1985 928S
I am selling a 1985 928S and would like some feedback and thoughts I might not have thought of that might help me sell the car.

First of all HOW MUCH YOU ASKING? Second, WHAT"S THE MILEAGE? Third, GOT RECIEPTS FOR ANY WORK DONE? And since you asked, You should probably spruce up the interior, speaker covers, seat *****, maybe a new/used center panel cover, the little things. Exterior looks nice. Good rubber. Clean paint. Remember the markets still fairly soft for "S" cars. Anything special about this car that sets apart from the herd? Good Luck selling it. I hope it finds a good home.

10500 is possibly on the high side for the year. But you've done some good work there and have a very nice example. I feel it might sell quicker at a price under 10k, but most Porsche people are going to want documentation and inspections done, others might not be so picky and just want the car at a good price. My 2 cents for price is 8500-9500 for a great 85.

OPPS Sorry. Didn't pay attention to the writting. To busy looking at the photos. $10,500???? You can't be serious. Even with a completely new interior it won't command that kind of pricing. However, that may be someones dream car. I've been wrong plenty of times before. I still wish you good luck.

Your ad format is not easily read, I'd put the price closer to the body of the text. Same w/ the mileage. Ditto regarding documentation, don't be shy about listing all of them. How about listing option codes? Any info about previous ownership? Also, downplay the negatives, one expects some in this vintage, but if you're having that stuff fixed as part of the cost, be clear about it.
Don't forget to point out what sets it apart: no side moldings etc.
Otherwise, nice looking car!!

Get it while the getting is good. "They" removed one car for sale post yesterday, so don't look for this one to hang in there for long unless you bought a membership.
The asking price is steep for an '85 automatic 928. 10.5k for a 86.5 might be doable, depending on its' condition.
Edit: Quick fingers Drew!

This is the first 928 I have had and was honestly looking for "things" I might not know about that I might need to address. That is why I stayed away from any "come on guys make me an offer" type language. I know NO one in DFW with a 928 that I could have asked the same question to. I have saved the html for reference if it gets pulled.
Sorry John for posting it.
