Default Central Warning System

Hi to all, I'm having trouble with the central warning system and door locking switch that is located in the centre console. The lights don't work in the switches yet the bulbs are good. The doors both unlock with the key but not with the remote. I have left a message with the PO to find out whether they did work before I pulled the dashboard out.

I don't think they are getting a signal, does anybody know this system well enough to point me in a direction that I can start eliminating possible causes.
Here are a few more symptoms, if you turn the ignition on, maually turn both inner door locks, the light will come on. If you only turn one door lock it will not. The doorlocks don't operate eachother. When you turn the ignition off the door locks make a sound like they are operating.

The other complication is a quicktrack system was fitted to the car, (GPS monitered anti theft device) whether this has been wired wrong I dont now.
Any hints appreciated.

Thanks

Get the CD manuals and check the wiring circuits to the central warning system. Had problems with the brake warning system, the manual shows a temporary adapter for this problem. Just took the unit out and wired direct, NO MORE PROBLEMS with that, brakes and lights work fine.
The GPS tracking unit is usually specific to the Company that had the contract to track it when it was installed. See if there is a name on the unit and call them.
