It is now happening in South Louisiana.
Has anyone come up with any plans to meet ,because i,ve been to two parades already. Infact, I am as we speak nursing todays hang over and icing beer for another parade in about 10 hours. So if you don't want to miss
the self punishment we call Mardi Gras, come see us in Houma. As your sitting
in that chair reading this, it has begun. The party is definately on ! Make this
mardi gras the one you went to. Next weekend the real insanity begins, so if you dare let South Louisiana have it's way with you this year. I promise you will leave different . " Not nessesarily better but noticably different" .
There is nothing like being a part of party so vast and carefree. You have to witness what goes on, you can not imagine the insanity. The party is endless from now on....
Are you ready?
You know I am and if I wasn't
no one would ever know.

I'm just reading all your notes for the 1st time... I live on the West Bank, in Orleans Parish, about 6 miles from downtown New Orleans and if you need any help, I'd be glad to assist. I have some renovations going on in my house otherwise I'd offer some accomodations. However, I live at English Turn and can offer some security (albeit) outside parking at the Country Club; I can provide some limited transportation to the Algiers Ferry, which runs from Algiers Point across the River to the bottom of Canal St in the French Quarter (probably the best way to get into the City over the Mardi Gras week-end). If you need a description, date, times and routes of the Parades... go to www.nola.com. Any problems with the cars... I've got the 'week-end' warrior assortment of tools.
Call, write if you need anything..

Hey, Jere. Nice to see we have another Rennlist member so close by! Just the discription of your car makes me jealous! What color is it? Can you post a picture? We'll keep you in mind during Mardi Gras and When we get together in the future. Did you see the post of our first get together?
