Default ATF fluid leakage somewhere in right front

Hey guys, I discovered this morning about a 2 inch diameter puddle of ATF under my 928 when my dad fired it up this morning. The leak appears to be coming from somewhere in the right front where a metal line connects just below the upper radiator hose on the passenger side of the radiator. I know these radiators cool 3 types of fluids and I have ATF also in my power steering. My question is, the line that has the leakage; could that be the ATF line running from the tranny to the radiator or is that a power steering line I see leaking?

Andy, That would be the transmission cooler lines. The one you mentioned near the top of the tank and there is one at the bottom of the same tank.

can the fitting it's possibly leaking at (I can't really tell unless I remove the upper-radiator hose) be repaired? or does that whole line have to be replaced? If I recall. It's about $130 bucks minimum to replace that line!

The better thing to do is clean the area down with a shot of brake cleaner fluid and a rag - to determine exactly where it is leaking. Yes, it's easier to open the rad drain, and lower the level enough to slide the top hose off.
The fitting is a 32mm gland nut threaded on a 27mm hex compression fitting sticking out of the rad. Hopefully, the leak is due to a slack gland nut. If that's the case, counter hold the 27mm fitting ABSOLUTELY RIGID **- and then attempt to tighten the 32mm. Perhaps, that is all there is to it.
** it's bad news to twist that fitting, or it could cost you a rad ...

great, that's all I need, another $1,400 tagged onto the expense account for that car this month. And, it's been doing so well so far!
