Look closely at the front and rear wheels. Is one a cup and the other a C2 wheel?????

The front one is a Cup wheel and is correct for the 95, the rear is a C2 from a 93/early 94.
Interesting.
Interesting.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

I don't know which one's what - but they are two different wheels.
The seller wants $44k for a 97k GTS? I think not.
617 area code. Cambridge. My neck of the woods. After this auction dies its first boring death and the seller restarts the biding at something more reasonable I'd be happy to look at the car for anyone seriously interested.

betting that he forgot to take off the set of winter tires on the back...or as he said..new tires on back....probably took it to a shop with the "winter" rims on and they just slapped some tires on the rims...just another clueless 928 PO......but......a 95 5sp......even at just shy of 100k miles...44 k sounds reasonable...not that I would buy it at that price...(i'm a cheap bugger ;-) )...but one of what 14 or so 5spds in 95......
and the perfect color ;-)

Tom

Right, just a case of putting on summer winter tyres on a different set of wheels. Now where is that lotto ticket???? On the other hand, that car has seen a lot of salt if its spent some winters on Cambridge, MA streets.

5 speed 95 GTS is quite rare, 20 so far on 928registry....with a vin of 118 it is in the last dozen or so brought to America. I hope the wheels are "winter" wheels only, but at least they have matching Porsche crests! Still I think $44 is a bit steep, unless it is perfect inside & has perfect maintence.

My weekday residence is the waterfront in Boston, not five minutes from the "peoples republic of cambridge". I could also look in on the car if someone here gets the "bug".
With these cars, condition is more important than mileage or vintage.....(course, I have my 89 GT so I can be smug about things like that).
