Another "Halloween special" 928
This link is from a euro classifieds service. Went browsing for sharks and found a monster! Powerful, and ugly.

Yes, it has that ugly Gemballa body kit... Strange stuff!
But it has a nice greygreen all leather interior (hello Ron, hello Beth and Rich!), and a SUPERCHARGER by Albrex. Supposedly, the engine makes 425 hp, and 470 NM or torque at 5000rpm.
Also note the drivers seat mounted fire extinguisher!
How about this one? I think it's pretty cool, even though the flash makes it look a lot more pink than it really is... Has the Exclusive wood options, too!

Heinrich......you are correct .....but then again a couple cement blocks adds "downforce" as does a full tank of gas ! When I had Andy Keel in the old very brown at Willow he and I totaled about 600 lbs of "downforce"....... Funny thing was I did my fastest laps that way ,that day !!

Sharker,
I just got the Jacquemond Clockwork kit. IMO a lot more attractive than the Gembellla kit, but many people just don't like any kits. They are very pricey, but the quality appears excellent. Still not on the car yet - hopefully in a couple of months. Attached is a mock-up picture

RR, that's a pretty tasteful kit. I'm no hater, I just think the particular kit that I linked destroys the identity of the car, without replacing it with any particular unified image. Like Jim said, seems like it was done solely because it would make the car "different". I mean, beyond the lack of aerodynamic benefits, stylistically, I consider it without redeeming value, unless you desperately needed your car to look "different".
But then, I guess the world don't march to the beat of just one drum.
Nicole, this car...
Looks a little...Pimp?

Ken,
Thanks for the pics - I just made the decision that it is not for me.
I still like the looks a lot, but I see that the whole front quarters are replaced by plastic. And what about the rears, do you attach it over the existing fenders? Once the car is done it must look very nice, but I dislike plastic and Bondo - otherwise I would drive a Corvette.
So I agree with the others, I keep mine stock looking.
But would still be interested in seeing the car once its done - good luck with the project.

Amethyst GTS in France has been for sale maybe more than year already. Can't understand why it hasn't sold long time ago. Color is very striking in real life. Small pictures don't do it justice.
