Everytime the GT gets put on the rollers the PSD basically shuts down......can't remember what the exact message is on the cluster though. As soon as it's driven off and restarted it's fine again.
Yeah, that's my recollection, but that was before the roller test too. I did notice that the car was not running super smooth just prior to the test, and it sat for a while and was not fully warmed up when to operator did the test.

Thats the answer right there....cats work best when fully warm. That plus the time sitting probably was the answer. A good idea is to run the car for a while to get the engine fully warm & put a fresh tank of super unleaded in before a smog test....but 928's do run so clean it really doesn't matter.
I found my numbers: HC was 7 at idle (limit 120), 10 @2500 rpm(140 limit) ...CO% was 0.00 at idle & .03 @2500 (both limits 1.00)...not bad..I was quite happy! The tech was amazed at the numbers as well, probably since I got the "we don't work on those disclaimer before he ran the test!"
