My Weissach for sale
Though it is very tempting to keep it, I will sell the "W" to another rennlister for what I have into it to this point: $5500. 115K on the odometer, actual miles. Auto trans., dash plaque present #172 of 205.
Basic details: cosmetics are very good in and out, does not need any major mechanical work besides a steering rack rebuild. I have documented tb/wp 15k/2 yrs ago. Runs excellent, both cooling fans work, temp runs good, engine/trans work excellent, all body panels and glass (except windshield) original. Has a newer Pioneer deck with wired 6 disc changer that works, all speakers work. Needs outside temp sensor, power antenna, and has a broken sunroof cable (I have the cable but have not been able to fix). Everything else works.
What's new: tires, boge shocks, brake pads/fluid, borla cat-back exh., all new wheel bearings, some rubber parts under the hood, and other minor things.
I am not advertizing it anywhere else, because it's not about money- I want it to go to a good home or stay with me. I am going to bring pics to Frenzy.

It's too bad the 928 Weissach didn't get the cool sport seats and red piping the 911 Weissach received. My friend has a 911 Weissach with 15,000 miles on it.

Have the lower ball joints been upgraded to steel and has the air conditioning unit been at all replaced with an aftermarket compressor?

I am still trying to get the luggage, kind of a long story, but I think the luggage is in storage about 10 miles from me. I have talked to people who have seen the luggage themselves. Like searching for the holy grail.

Carl,
I am realy looking forward to picking the car up next week.
1780 miles (door to door) of pleasure.
About 30 hours of drive time.
What more could I want.
I will have my 928 OC help list with me.
My route will be Boston, Hartford, New Jersey, Easton, Harrisburg, Knoxville, Nashville, Memphis, Little Rock and Dallas.
I78, I81, I40 & I30.
Will be traveling Nov 4 & 5, & 6 maybe.
Anyone want to hook up, know of better routes?

Carl / Roger,
Maybe we could put something together quick to celebrate this most auspicious occasion!
Even half a dozen cars flying through Chepachet might be fun...

Next thursday Roger comes in at TF Greene airport. Some sort of send-off would only be right. I know the W is going to a good home. I was acting as "High Miler" with no profit involved and a lot of my time and elbow grease.

Maybe I need to think about staying over on Thursday night as "Party" always means alcohol to me!!!!!!!!
Just Kidding.
Do I need to bring the Texas Flag or the Union Jack?????? (I was a Brit before I became an American)
I like the look of my new signature.
I now need a 78 5 speed and a Euro of some description to add to the collection.

That's one fine Shark you got yourself Roger. Now you need to show it off to the DFW gang. Good luck with your new "W" and be safe coming home. I know that route very well.
