Default '82 Euro?

Other than the visual ques (Side Marker lights, no rear bumpers) how can I tell its a Euro motor? THe owner said that their PO bought it in Germany and had it sent here. It has bumperettes and no side marker behind the front wheels. So I'm thinking its a Tourist Delivery car. So motor wise it would have a US low HP motor then? I'm looking at it on Saturday so I'll look up the option codes then, but for now I'll ask the crazy people of this list..

Check archives how to find engine number in block and compare it to list http://www.928gt.com/928specs/928specs.htm#Specs

Where on the block is the number? I'm assuming its a US car but a tourist delivery.

an Euro 5spd should be M28/09 for the 4.5 and M28/11 for the 4.7. The number is found on the top of the front of the engine block, it's not hard to find.
