Default Porsche books by Scott Faragher

Anyone familiar with Scott Faragher's porsche books? He has a new one at the printers right now -- and he says it will be a very complete history of the Porsche.

Cheers, Dave

Yes. I have talked with Scott a great deal while he was writing the book and provided him with some pictures. Recently, I spoke last week via email with his publisher in the UK who had this to say about the book.

"You haven't missed anything! We had to take the project off the schedule last winter and substitute another book in its place. Now that the manuscript is done our published is eager to inset it into the production schedule soon but I've received no word about it."

I reviewed the manuscript and contributed some content and photos. It will be a very good book with a lot of detailed information!!

Before you ask, I'm under NDA and can't release it.

Default More 928 Books

There is another 928 book written by Marc Cranswick. It too should be a great book, my GTS will be in it.

...and another one is coming - by David Hemmings. A version of it had been offered at the 928OC conference - now David is working on a new release that includes the US models. Let's see when he's ready. There will be a lot more info on the 928 available soon.

For now the best book out there is the Technical Documentation book by Jörg Austen - a retired Porsche Engineer. The book has pictures, drawings, and data tables for each model year. For Rennlist members it's available for $48, including shipping. Just email me at hookedoncars@mossinger.com

My GTS should be in his book as well. Also, I am working to get the 78 back together so I can send him pics of it too.
