value will depend on several things. first off is it a 5 speed or auto? what condition is it in and what is it's mantainace history? it can be very easy to put many thousands into a marginally maintained car. timingbelt/waterpump, a/c hvac system, clutch/transmission are potentially major issues. many interiors can be poorly maintained as well.
as jim b always says, the value will be determined by what a buyer is willing to pay. if it's a 5 speed in well kept condition with a good maintainance history it probably would be worth 8 to 10k. that's what i might be willing to pay anyway.

cutiepie -
Where are you located? There is probably a Rennlister near you that would be happy to check out the car for you...to help you decide if it is even worth paying for a full PPI...or give you a rough guesstimate of its value.
Because of the complexities of these cars, and the potential for neglected maintenance items, there are far too many variables to est. the price with the limited info you have given....It could range from $2000 for a shark with LOTS of immediate repair needs - to 10 times that for a near-perfect example.

ok its an automatic , im in CT , the condition seems good, the leather interior is almost perfect with the exception of a few cracks on the dash, the A/C needs a hose and a few other minor things. The paint is great cuz it was garaged and only driven in the summer .......

if everything else checked out ok on a ppi and the timinig belt/water pump was done recently i would probably pay $7 to $8k for it, but that's entirely my opinion based on my present need (or lack of need) for another 928.

I couldn't get the pic links to work...BUT - if what N.Masco says is true - it is likely NOT a EURO...
A few easy things to check:
1 - The VIN should have a "ZZZ" in it (and likely an import sticker of some sort - located in the back of the drives side door jam - along with the weight and tire pressure stickers))
2 - EASY TELL (Unless there was an engine change)...the '85 EURO will be a 16valve with the "SPIDER" intake (8 individual tubes)...the '85 US will be a more 'square' intake
3 - A third brake light (actually a red FOG liight) in the rear bumper...down low on the drivers side.
ALSO - the EURO will have a 1-piece "DUAL DISTRIBUTOR" mounted on the front of the drivers side of the engine...it will have 2 'banks' of 4 spark plug leads...each with it's own coil lead in the middle.

The pics do not link here either; however, Mark has all the issues covered distinguishing an Euro ( the VIN must read 'WPOZZZ92 .....').
A post by jimineez, currently on this page, will lead you to one solid Euro for comparison, whatever .... mind you, it's a 5-sp, which nobody wants ...
