I for one have wondered WHY anyone would volunteer to be a moderator ? probably the high pay , the frequent threads stating appreciation for their efforts , the public praise ,the 24/7 opportunities to track threads, the frequent parties with dancing girls ............ Yea ,I am sure that is it.

ANYBODY who uses a position of 'authority' in ANY situation where they use that authority to further a personal agenda through censorship!

Reading back through the now "closed" apology post, I could see nothing to warrant its closing. Some folks were simply stating their oipinions.

Lets look at a couple of things in the Charter...with particular attention to the areas I have BOLDED :

Jim H .. Nearly all 928s are coupes ; Randy, Scott have convertibles. Now who does one complain to when the moderator uses the P word ? Actually I think I know I had a dream last night things were going very poorly until God spoke to me ...The odd thing ..............he sounded just like John D. ..... One must never forget who "created the universe" .

I'll make a statement and hope this mess goes away...
I posted the apology so the sponsors would know I wasn't trying to step on their toes... if you take the amount of time, energy, and FINANCES I spent to acquire these cars, divide that by what I'm getting for the parts I can actually salvage, I am OBVIOUSLY not making a living off this.. of course I didn't start this to make money per se.. as it stands right now I am in the hole(surprise surprise).. and to be completely honest I DON'T CARE
I am at a point in my life that, for now, I can do what I want when I want, and this is what I want to do
I am not parting these vehicles and sending them for scrap, I am keeping each and every chassis for future restoration or track conversion, and I will handpick to whom they go to for these purposes...
that said,
RandyV was within his authority as a moderator to point out to me I was teetering on violation of the charter THAT I DID AGREE TO upon membership
however, according to the charter I should have been contacted off forum by an administrator on this issue (rule 7) when you combine this with other daily blatant violations by others (not gonna point fingers) that go unspoken, it leads me to believe there is fairly uneven enforcement of the charter
I have nothing personal against Randy, he did what he felt was right (though I didn't like his method) we spoke, I changed my post and moved everything to the classifieds section (no direct link from the forum) to me the issue is CLOSED...
now... back to our sharks. (that is why we are here correct?)

I recently disovered Yukon Jack 100 seems the "extra" alcohol cuts the sweetness of regular Yukon Jack .............and who said I dont know Jack.....?
