Default Ott X-pipe

I emailed Louie about buying one of his X-pipes and he replied back saying that he was no longer producing them for the 928 because he had to much work to do. I was wondering if anyone else had heard this and if there was anywhere else i could purchase a similar X-pipe with similar results or if it would be best to have a custom set made?

I should be receiving one any day. I contacted Louie 2 mo ago and paid last mo. I was told that I should receive mine around the middle of Oct. and that he was going to stop doing the exhaust so he could get his car right. From all of the interest I hope he starts making them again when his car is finished.

If he doesn't, *someone* will...

Heads up, Louis! Don't neglect the cash cow, or it will find another home!

Should be easy enough to have them copied. Is the design patented? Someone will build them if there is a demand for them.

I know 928 Specialist has an X-pipe however I have never heard anything about it. Has anyone out there installed this product and if so what were your impressions?

According to the 928 mail list, Louis Ott stated that Tom Cloutier 'The Power Broker', will now be constructing Louie's x-pipe.

Hey that Dr. Gas Place is right down the street form my house, in fact I purchased a cold air intake for my pickupfrom him. Very nice guy, sweet shop and one if not the only manderal bender in Utah. Looks like I'll be giving him a call very soon.
