Frenzy 8 - Two Weeks to Go!
Good Morning.
Only two weeks to go until Frenzy 8!
A couple of administrative notes:
1. If you haven't registered yet and you plan on attending, please let me know how you want your name to appear on your name badge by tomorrow night (Sunday, October 17th). These badges are plastic and need to be ordered on Monday at the latest. I will try to arrange for a second production run for those of you who miss this deadline, though I cannot guarantee you will have a badge at Frenzy. It will be a nice memento.
2. I will also need to know your t-shirt size by tomorrow night as well.
We've got a great weekend lined up! On Friday beginning at 7 PM we will have a reception at the Holiday Inn Washington Dulles, featuring a "South of the Border" Buffet, a Fresh Fruit Display, and a cash bar.
On Saturday from 9 AM until 5 PM, we will begin the day at Curry's Automotive in Sterling, VA. We have a number of technical presentations lined up as well as dyno sessions on a first-come-first-serve basis* with priority given to "out-of-towners." Locals will be offered an opportunity to purchase a discount voucher for a dyno at a future date.
The technical presentations** we have lined up so far include:

928 Electrical Systems - Wally Plumley, 928 Specialists
Steering Rack Replacement - John Eifert
A/C Head Relay Replacement - Bill Sanders
944 Club Race: Getting your 928 on the Track - Dave Derecola, PCA Potomac Club Race Chair
Automotive Insurance for the Track - Gary Knox
Steering Rack Replacement - John Eifert
Earl Gillstrom will have an alignment setup in the garage and will be on hand to answer questions about aligning your 928.
Brian Bowman is setting up an audio/visual display so the attendees can watch the action in and under the car on a large screen display.
A note to presenters: If you have a MS PowerPoint presentation you would like to give, email it to me or bring it on a CD or memory stick.
We have a number of vendors who have donated door prizes. 928 Specialists and The Paisley Group will be on hand.
A buffet-style dinner will be served on Saturday night beginning at 6:30 PM. Tom Falkenberg will have a challenging quiz to test your 928 knowledge.
And don't forget the Sunday rally, golf tournament, Halloween party, concours and costume contest! Knight Financial is putting on quite the party for us on Sunday! For details on the Sunday activities go to www.pcapotomac.org and to http://www.knightfinancialgroup.com/.

I have only heard from 2 people that are interested in golfing Sunday morning of Frenzy 8 before the gathering at Knight Financial.
