I've had some guys talking about trying to meet and talk cars here in Indianapolis on October 24th at Champps, Keystone Fashion Mall Area at 4:00pm. Colts game will be done by 3:00pm and it may not be too crowded.

We could sit down, Drink some cold ones, Tell lies about our cars.

Sounds great to me, but the local audi club is having a fun run on the 23. Driving through brown county, and ending up at a cookout so i will be attending that. If you want you are more than welcome to come. Audi club has great people, and they dont care if you are a real paying member of the national club or not. I will be driving my 928 on the fun run. The first night i brought it out, it got more attention that the rest of the cars. They are a good bunch of people, so i doubt they would look down our rides. I do like Champs, that double stack burger with waffle cheese fries is pretty good. I will be there any other weekend.

What gives? I've been going to the USGP for 3 years in a row and none of you have spoken up when I post info about the trip?
How can you do anything with Porsche's and Audi's and NOT visit the Rathskeller?

928's to Audi's are not bottom feeders. Audi's are the red-headed stepchild in the Porsche/Audi/VW family.

Ok, USGP 2005 - we will be there - meet us at the Rathskeller.
Can any Indy locals help with hotels? We would like to stay downtown, stayed at the Adam's Mark last year. For some reason this year is 10x's harder finding a room. Is something else going on the same weekend?

How about a 951 possibly showing up? I live about 5min for Champps...

4 days to bolt the 3 piece wheels back together, reseal, mount tires/balance and reinstall on car...I should be able to make it...

I would expect a ride in a shark though!
