Car Show at UMass Dartmouth (which will always be SMU to me...) - Sunday, October 17
Sunday (Oct. 17th) there is a Car Show at UMASS Dartmouth. Registration starts at 8:00 Am until 12:00 noon with a charge of $10.00 per entrant. This show is a fundraiser to benefit disabled children through the SHARE Foundation. From what I understand, the Engineering Department hooks diabled kids up with computers and computer assisted equipment. There is a flea market, crafts, games, refreshments and fun for the whole family. This will be the last show of the year around here.
There are a few ways into the university, but here are some generic directions:
From RT 195W / from New Bedford take exit 12A. From Fall River RT 195E to exit 12.
Bear right; at set of lights take right. Follow this road to the end (through two sets of lights). At the T take a right and a quick left into UMASS.
The show will be held on the front lawn near the observatory.

I'm going, of course. I always see a lot of the local PCA group at events down here, but 928's are usually poorly represented. I'll probably be alone with my red-headed bastard stepchild Porsche.

Old & New,
You will not be alone. My oldest son and I will be making the trek. I would like to arrive early, somewhere around 8:30 or 9am. Of course, if the Sox take it to extra innings tonight I could be there much later.

Great! I'll probably roll in fashionably late, but hopefully early enough to register and park in there with the *nice* cars, instead of out in a lot somewhere. See you there.
