I was figuring 5-sp... I guess an automatic would be another choice at ~610 rwhp?

I guess one would hope to at least have a GTS box in place...

I seem to recall a legend that the 5-speed could handle 650 ft-lbs of torque. I don't remember if that was for a GTS box or not.

I seem to remember the automatic being associated with "800" on this board - again anecdotal, of course.

Hey Lag, I think that Murph's clutch is for a 5-speed and the ones refered to in German are for the auto. I have a Kevlar 87' clutch sitting here in front of me, if he got his done for $300 I want to know where! We are also working on heavy duty auto parts as we speak. Do you think a lower 1/2 planetary gearset with a higher stall converter would help along with upgraded clutch packs? Just an idea........that we still need to test before we offer it for sale.

Get a hold of him. His pucks are greenish-yellow in color.
