"Bump Steer" is caused by the virtual swing arm of the front suspension not matching the swing arm of the steering - nothing to do with the shocks...
In other words, if the tie rod end of the spindle steering arm doesn't swing in the same arc as the tie rod, the difference will cause that wheel to turn in or out as the suspension moves up and down.

Three Wheelin'
Are the stock springs linear or progressive? I was wondering whether a lower right height might compromise the design of a stock progressive spring, as the suspension would have less opportunity to "progress" (stiffen) before bottoming in an incorrectly-set (lowered) example.

Jpcork, yes i used 2290032. Installed them last night, going to finish the alignment this morning. One trick, the opening in the toe arm is tapered and the bushing goes in much easier from one side than the other.
