Decided to work from home today - wife was out spending money somewhere - when the doorbell rang - it was Fedex here to pick up a package. Wife had arranged it, and it took me a few seconds to realise the package was in the garage, so we went round the back.

When we opened the door, the guy saw the 928 and said "928 . . nice car . . what year is it . . an '80 maybe?"
"Very good, yep an '80"
He then says to me "I know this real old guy who wants to get rid of his - he is asking $2,000".
"Oh, what year?" "'95"
- "sure you don't mean '85?"
. . . "nope '95"
"Well, then you mean he is asking $20,000" (thinking to myself what a deal) - "Nope, he is asking $2,000"
I ask him to wait while I run inside and get a card - I tell him that I am very interested in the car and to call me with the guy's name.

I detect the strong smell of bullsh!t, and don't think I'll ever hear back, but I can live in hope

I checked the usual 'urban legend' websites...nothing there on this one....

I pray 2 things for you:
1 - THIS IS FOR REAL!!! and...
2 - Wilhoit doesn't have the same FEDEX guy!!!

and...if the above proves to work out - I hope you have a couple $$ left to buy lottery tickets!!
