Larry, small world. I did a PPI on your GTS when it went off-lease in early 1999.

Great,, I was number 2 on the list for that car and it felt like a year before Don called me and said I could have it. It is ruff comparied to some of the cars around here, but my thoughts were it's a 95 5 speed and I should bring it back to factory specs. I found so much sand on that car when I first got it you'ld have thought the PO worked at Bay watch.

Some weekends I think I should have spent more for a cleaner example but I still love it.

Cool,,,, and thanks for letting me know.

Interesting. The paint-to-sample 27s '95 I PPI'd in 02/99 was located in Boston. Sound familar? Can't be two of them right?

That's it. I purchased it in 4/99 from a broker out of Minneapolis that bought it from the lease company in Boston. Your right there can't be 2 of them. That's sometimes a problem in a small town so my second vehicle is a white F250. Under the radar.

The car is Iris Blue, 5 speed, with 53K miles. It was a wedding anniversary present. Apparently, I'm a very good wife. I'm hoping for a supercharge kit for my birthday.

Because of the GTS' 10.4:1 compression ratio they are notoriously hard to supercharge well. You might want to look into a stroker instead.

Default 928 women

You can add one more, my wife Agnes. Since I vote for myself I cannot vote for her. She drives 928 since 10 years, was first in the BPL autocross class three years in the row with SCCA, and drives the 928 on the track several times a year. And she also help me sometimes to fix the GT2s.

Well, at least that takes us into the double-digits...

She'd have to get her own login ID to vote. You'd have to log-out and let her log in, then it should work.

She hasn't voted yet. So the women of this forum are still in the single digits - and the men are in the triple digits. No big surprise there, is it. I know the car world tends to be dominated by men, but racing (cars or motorcycles) attracks the women in droves. You would think that would bring more women into the wanting to drive/own more performance cars such as our beloved 928. Okay girls, only 9 votes . . . . anymore lurking out there?
