Default Temperature measurements / troubleshooting

Just an FYI.
I picked up this handy little gadget from www.omega.com
model HH501DK

Its basically a thermometer but uses pretty sensitive thermocouples. The sampling rate is 2.5X a sec and its DEAD accurate! You can select .1'/1' on your display ( 90'f or 90.5'f) I blow on it and it changes INSTANTLY then returns almost immediately to the ambient temp. The reason i got this one is that it was the only one i could find that had 4 inputs (T1 T2 T3 and T4)

Heres the plan (among other things for it)

TA1= intercooler out
T2=intercooler in/SC out
T3=SC inlet
T4= Airfilter

The display is selectable to show T1-T2, T1-T3 and T1-T4!! Pretty slick huh!
At a glance i will be able to see the rise and fall in temp across my SC and Intercooler. It also has a max function that will display the highest temp recorded.

It came with a 9V battery, rubber case(yellow), manual, and 4 K-thermocouples rated to 1300'F! All i need to do is buy some extension leads so i can route it into the cabin. Obviously it wont be "hard" mounted as its not the most appealing thing to look at but while im sorting out my SC, running it on the dyno or the drag strip, i will be able to "plug it in when needed. Perhaps a bit **** with it all but im curious to see what efficiencies i get and how things "work"

The price, 95 bucks!! !

here is one of the thermocouples being installe above the intercooler (SC discharge)

HTH, great little gizmo.
