Default PPI for 88 928 in North Carolina?

I have been looking around for my second 928, and I really want a black 5 speed, 87 or later. Lo and behold, an 88 5 Sp is available in Asherboro (not Asheron! sorry), NC within the mileage range I am looking for. Looks in good shape, minus a few cosmetic issues (missing front spoiler). Does anyone know a good source for a PPI in that area? I am about 5 hour drive away, and am planning on going down next weekend to check it out, but I am not confident enough in my abilities to give it a full PPI treatment. Obviously, I am ready and willing to pay for someone's time to do so.

Any help is welcome!

Bill

Where is Asheron, NC?

David is in Spruce Pine, and MIGHT be able to help you...

Hey Wally - Asheboro is about 25 miles south of Greensboro, and about 178 miles from Spruce Pine - a pretty fair distance unfortunately. Do you think he might know of anyone closer?

Probably someone in Greensboro or Winston-Salem is going to be the best bet. I seriously doubt there is a competent shark wrench in Asheboro. There's enough r'listers in that area, I am SURE somebody will speak up!

Thread resurrection.

Considering an 87 S4 for sale in Greensboro. Given this thread is 10 yrs old, I thought it worth checking to see if this info still stands.

Still good info for a PPI in that area? Any other thoughts/options for Greensboro area PPI?

You've got Ray Munsch in Raleigh. He's the go to guy for 928s and 944s. Let me know if you want his number.
