Ron I have no doubt that you will make it into a nice car. I did see the interior that you put into your Euro I found it interesting that someone would feel the need to tell you that your "newly adopted kid" is in their opinion somewhat "ugly". I guess we all would like to see 928 / S-4 values stay higher and perhaps differentiating between really nice and possibly less nice is one way rationalize that a bit. The fact that S-4s can be purchased for less than $6,000 is not something many 928 owners want to know. Maybe those who have one which cost them 18 thousand dollars need to average down and buy a $6,000 S-4 as well ,that way the average cost is only $12,000 per car

I agree 100% Jim. Let me add this also, the car has almost 180k, needs a ton of work. But it's running so far and Joe picks it up on friday night and drives it home. As far as calling it ugly . . so what . . I've never seen that person say anything nice so i'm glad i'm not special. I also broke the news to my girl . . she said "it's your money do what you want" but "don't come crying to me telling me how much you hate it like you did to the other two. I told her it's a deal. Also, no borrowing ANY of the house money. . . for now

VB . . I thought you were getting out of the 928? . . . Ahhhh . . But free is free
Sorry dude, none of the S4's are going anywhere and Tuk, Tim has freebie dibs on Ole' Blue. Like that's gonna happen . . only if I hit the lottery will it happen. And I'll give you one of the S4's. Keep your fingers crossed while I check my ticket.

Trade . . I don't think so. You know, the white interior and all.

Shane . . I know that. All I have to do is keep her from talking to Joe about who's gonna own the first Ferrari between the two of them. But it's HER money so she can do whatever she wants. Right now i'm just going to sit back and wait.

Ferrari? Hm? Who wants a Ferrari? We should talk.... Glad you not ventilated after spilling the beans. Now for something really interesting, what do you suppose will happen when you buy the next 928?

You have to let them have a 928 too.
Otherwise they will just see it as a total waste of time and money.

Nicobel . . . I have 4 brothers in front of you

BC . . My girl won't drive a car without A/C. So far the A/C in the white one works. We'll see how it works when I get it to Texas.

Ron,
Thanks I told my wife that I bought a 928 automatic so that she could drive it TOO. Well, that has not gone over very well, unfortunately. Recent family money summit is proof of that...result...perhaps we should strongly consider selling the 89 Porsche. Hmmm...I say...OK honey...but I'm going to buy another "cheaper 928" (yeah right!) to replace it that doesn't eat into our family budget quite as much.

Once the 89 S4 is sold, I expect to be giving you a call to talk about Ole Blue seriously There's also the potential of wrangling Carl's very nice Weissach Edition. I sorta like that idea...sell the S4 and buy TWO early Sharks Wish me luck...

Someone please buy my 89 S4...I will make a Rennlsist member a DEAL on it. I want this car to go to a good home...it is too nice and very well sorted.

Cheers,
Tim
