Just got back my injector cleaning results.
Hey all,
I'm fairly new here. I've got an 81 auto that had been sitting for many years. I had determined that the injectors were clogged and gummed from years of gas in them. The car would start then die immediately. Anyway, Even if the injectors wasn't the problem I figured it would be a good idea to go ahead and have them serviced. I sent them to Rich at cruzinperformance in MI. He just emailed me back the results yesterday. So I haven't recieved them back yet to put them in the car. Here are the before and after results.
Preliminary Test Results

Injector #2 initially stuck closed. No before cleaning data available.
Turns out my assumption on the injectors were right, they were in desperate need of cleaning. I will let everyone know how it turns out once I get them back in the car.

Andrew, it come out to $107 and that includes return shipping via UPS. It's $12 an injector. He also replaced the pintle caps, screens, and the seals. For the injectors with the hard to remove rubber hose, he will charge $2 per injector to remove those in necessary. I went ahead and took the time to get them off though. Rich is very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to ever send anything else to him. Considering the price for 1 new injector from porsche, I believe it was well worth it.
