Hi John,
- on killing remaining oil leaks: On my '80, I'm down to one - at/on/near the oil sending unit. As the 'wind' blows oil all over, it has been difficult to pinpoint; however, I wrapped the oil pressure transducer and housing in a rag and drove for 2-3 days: oil is comming from inside the rag. Therefore, my leak is likely the metal crush ring gasket at the housing flange, or the sensor gasket me thinks. I do not suspect the sensor, as I replaced it last year to "cure the leak".

Does any of this jive with your success? - or is there some other 'soon to be obvious' place to look? Also, that metal 'spark-plug' type of gasket seems lilkely to be replaced with a hand cut one slathered in permatex.
Any thoughts?
