Just wanted some opinions. I was going to redo the carpet of my shark and was wondering what color to change it to? I was going to keep some of the original burgundy and go with a two tone color - any suggestions? I'll post a pic of the exterior also.

Well I ripped all my burgundy out but when I replaced I decided to go black with grey carpet, got the idea from DR's old 91GT. I like the contrast, in your case would certainly break up the burgundy which can be a bit overpowering.
Linen is fine if you don't mind the dirt.
You can get the carpet sets in any color you want (not just 928 standard colors) so do what you want.
Even a set of black mats would help, IMO of course. Color is a pretty personal thing.

Light camel/sand/saddle may look good judiciously sprinkled among burgundy .... Black and grey also ... linen, to me, may be too contrasting. One big thing you could do, is to redye the seats to any colour you choose, leaving the rest burgundy ... that would help since the dash and pod are enough in and of themselves. I have a pristine marble grey car with like-new burgundy interior, and personally I would not change a thing on it ... however like Chris I dumped the cracked burgundy interior I used to have in my S4 and I went black-grey with red accents, in a white car.

I have had excellent luck dying leather with SIM brand spray leather dye. I changed a pair of red Mustang buckets to black and they held up great even though they had quite a bit of , uhh, patina. IIRC, it was a two step process. I bought at a local parts store that services professional auto shops, painters, etc.

Doug,
My interior is black, so if you want to see black front carpets or mats with your burgundy parts, let me know. I am in Levittown, LI.

Linen carpet and door inserts would look good. Are you happy with the 930S wheel? I have only seen a couple in person and they seemed real grainy. Interested in your opinion.

I'm very happy with the 930 wheel - this also was ordered from 928 specialists. It has the embosed Porsche crest in the center of the wheel. It's a great improvement over the standard wheel.
