Today I took my 928 to what seems as a knowledgeable porsche mechanic to do an inspection, and according to him he said that my oil breathers are the problem, and also said that the compression in the last cylinder on the passenger is less than normal.
Under curiosity since I know many of you all know much more than I do, what would be an expected price range for repairs; Im well aware that to service the 928 is quite a bit more than regular cars but how much more? Also am I better to do these repairs myself? If so where can I obtain the repair manuals, preferably on a disc?

I've just had a PPI on a car I'm negotiating for, and the Porsche people who carried it out said that all compressions showed 150 to 175 psi, and that was good ('85 4.7L euro)
Hope that's helpful...
