Well folks . . Ernie & I finished the TB/WP today. It wasn't such a bad job. The next one will be a snap. You learn a lot when you tackle a job like that. I'm kinda hoping the 88 S4 I just bought needs it. I ought to boggie through it like a wild fire. There is a lot of do's & don't remembering them all is the trick. Ernest, I Thank You sir. The four of us will get together hopefully next Saturday night for dinner? I know your busy this weekend. Let me know. Thank You again.

Does anyone know what happened to this?

Ron seemed to have forgot all about it before he sold this car to me, I was looking through the paperwork on my car and found all the receipts for the job, all the rubber etc, but I am in the middle of replacing everything that obviously has never been replaced. The intake was never powder coated as well. ?!?!

Looks like he just capped the valve cover side of the oil breather hose and left the other side to spew oil.

Why not ask Ron, himself?

I sent him an email as well, but I figured I would get some input from others....

I am sure he is, I don't really want to get into that, but he did fail to mention several issues.

Even if Ron didn't get to it - it is an easy DIY and a good 'starter' DIY. <Insert shameless plug for my intake R&R on the OC website. >

I am in the middle of it, and just got done ordering all the bits and peices, including knock sensors. The intake is off and I am awaiting the UPS truck. I am not really happy about it, especially when I was told all vacuum lines were replaced.

*bitch *bitch *bitch.... blah blah blah. You had every chance to do a PPI on the car. You won't find much sympathy here, but you will find help. So ask for help rather than bringing up your dirty laundry.

I paid what its worth for the car, someone keyed EVERY panel of the car, sunroof, bumper etc.
it is high mileage, A/C doesnt work etc. I keep finding little surprises.
