Hacker, I have the same problem with mine. Is there any easy way to fix this? How about running a new wire. Does anyone have the diagram?

tekwaldo, I'm going to install some different plugs to see if that solves the problem. I hope it works since there is not much wire to work with. I'll be doing this over the weekend, I'll let you know how it works and what plugs I used. I should be able to buy what I need at Radio Shack.
