Wheel key lock - Question
I have a set of the Porsche wheel key locks. These are the kind that require a special socket to remove. Well, as can be expected, I lost the key!
Where do I go to get another one (I have the serial number) and is this a stock item, or is everyone of them ordered from the factory?

Matt -
I've watched my wrench 'pick' them with a hairpin or dental pick SEVERAL times when he had to do work on a car and the owner neglected to leave the key....you might try it - they are not THAT secure!
Grab the outer portion gently with some channel locks and go at it, McGiver!

I think what Mattman928 meant is the new factory style type (with the "tubekey" type key socket).
I recently bought a set of those. The instructions on the keycode card state that the dealer (or perhaps also could the big three) can order a new key given the keycode.
If what you meant is the older style with the actual lock cylinder and key (to which Mark was referring), keys and blanks are NLA, as I've been told by the vendors and dealer.

Thanks guys! I have the newer one with the Tubekey design. Unfortunately I cannot kget a set of channel locks in there, nor is there anything to pick.
I'll call the big three today and see what's up

Good News, It turns out the any Porsche Dealer has a set of master keys to the Porsche Wheel lock systems. Thus if you are ever in a bind, they will be able to help you out.
