Hey bc,
Where did you purchase that triple outlet cigarette lighter/ashtray replacement. Nice, very nice.

Scott,
Gretch has previously posted pics of his 930S wheel installed. Do a quick search and you should find them. Man, it looks good.

928 Specialists offers a direct fit, bolt on, genuine Porsche 930S replacement wheel for about $400.

I hope you're not suggesting that the other wheels posted before yours are "cheap aftermarket stuff".

Justin,

The dash lights were upgraded to LEDs. When fully bright you can see them in broad daylight. Do a search of this forum for dash lights and you'll get the details of my install and others that have done this.

Too bad about the air bag.............Nice wheel, I just prefer the one without the airbag.

Your sig doesn tell us much about your car....I presume you, eh............"needed" an air bag model..............

BTW, there isn't a wheel pictured in this thread that is cheap.........So I interpret that you mean that you saw some aftermarket example on another car that you did not find to be "expensive"..............?????? I donno,..............I guess I am confused as to exactly what you do mean...........

Well, I don't use my ashtray, and since I already hacked up my console to install my EQ, I just hacked out the ashtray, and stuck a 3 outlet one in there. It was originally intended to be used by plugging into a jack, but I just hooked my wires up to the existing outlet wires, and it works fine. That way I can have my cel phone charger, radar detector, etc, all running at the same time...

Cool early 930 wheel...

After I re-dye the leather to black...will be installing this Italvi Lanti wheel in my 89 S4. Rumored to be an early 930 wheel...

This is the same as Shane's, but a clearer picture. It wasn't cheap but I love the feel of it. I also like the MOMO 4 spoke wheels, they would've been my second choice.

And they are CERTAINLY NOT aftermarket, Porsche OEM 930 sport wheel, ordered straight from Porsche by 928 Specailists with factory color selection. Mine is Burgandy in the previous picture, and helmut has a black one like the Ferris has.

Hey Mark,

How well does the Porsche OEM 930 steering wheel match the color and texture of the interior vinyl? I know it is all black but the wheel appears a little less "shiny" or maybe a lighter shade of black than the rest of the interior? Maybe it is just the picture. Thanks.

Not Mark but my 930 match the original color perfectly. Pictures don't do it justice.
