a gent local to me advertised some heads on ebay last nite and said he's parting a 79 with cracked engine block, I'm gonna go and take pics in just a bit for anyone who might need parts... will post pics this afternoon
ok here we go
car was bought at an estate sale a yr ago and he was gonna fix it up until he learned it needed a new block
the center console is MINE!! so don't even ask
the car is a 79 Euro VIN 9289102196 w/sunroof
a cylinder sleeve is cracked and the block is USELESS IMHO
dash and pod CRACKED BAD
all panels and glass are in great shape
seats are black with blue cloth inserts (fronts need work, back in pretty good condition
16" phonedials in great shape
heads just redone and still in plastic from machine shop
the rear interior quarter panels look great! hard to come by
rear tool cover is there, I saw no tools
no radio
slight rust area around rear hatch on drivers side
has a 928S stencil on rear?????
also has an after market rear wing of some kind in back (not on car thankfully)
if anyone needs parts I took a bunch of pics
pm me for pics and/or his contact info
this would make a good track car start if you have a motor or another block

I've had many inquires on the interior so here is a pic, I'm sorry but it was kinda dark and cramped, I'm going back on monday to get better pics
the car appeared to be originally petrol blue with matching blk/blue interior very nice combo if I do say so, was repainted red some time ago but interior remains

 

I have more pics of the interior/exterior PM me with your email addy and what pics you want... he wants to sell the seats/door panels as a package deal as they match, pass front fender SOLD, front center console GONE, block/pistons currently spoken for, has a brand new full engine gasket set for 4.5l still in package as well....

how much fr the gasket set? any more info on the rear spoiler and the a/c compressor.?

 

pm me with offer on gasket set, ac compressor is there (he said it worked when motor was pulled)
here is the funky spoiler... it's metal of some type and would require some bracketing to make it fit... not my cup of tea but was obviously someones
