Basic rule of Auto design ......If it LOOKS fast it is probably just the opposite .....wide tires , big fender flairs , scoops , wings , things ..........about the best body shape is a station wagon !! unless you want to drive something which looks like 1/2 a rain drop .......bulbous rounded front end long tapered tail . Looking a bit like Lance's cycling helmet !! I wonder how much wind tunnel time the helmets get ? actually a 928 body going BACKWARDS would probably work really well !!
I think I was the only one that liked it, but look up the Jacquemond wing that was posted within the last couple of weeks. Kinda like stock only bigger.
The too large rounde ends do not look right-almost heavy. If they would get rid of that large radius and make the ends more fin like.Half moon with a tiny radius !! AHHHHH if I only new the damb computer ,I could show yas. Mike . computer retarded!
Mike, I have an early model "Jacquemond" wing that I was going to try to fit to my '86 car. The job is too extensive, so if you want to try 40kg of fiberglass on yours, ring me up and you can bolt it up... It's not as bulbous as the one in the pic above.

Hey Jim,
How fast has the 928 Int'l Shop Truck gone? Put a camper top
on that shop truck and you guys can run the unlimited speed class.
Watched all of the Tour de Lance. They did tons of windtunnel research on Lance A.'s position on bike and the new helmets. Safety
issues forced them to go to a bigger less aero but better crash protection time trail helmet.
You know it's not possible nor safe to have the engine of a car
in the back when you run the 928 backwards. (Them Carrera boys are going to git me know.) Interesting config tho. Rear engine. Front transaxle. Front wheel drive with rear steer. Great for doing donuts. Could be a handful to drive.
I'm heading back to Saskatchewan this weekend. I can see if I can pick you up one of these babies!!! $ 1.99 for material + shipping and handling. I would have it installed by a qualified body shop though to ensure a seamless install.
Mike, perhaps you could put a small air deflector on the rear of the roof and direct the air flow towards a small helicopter type rotor attached to the wing, which would be mounted on sliding supports. The rotor would then lift the wing at speed.....
